A chemical peel is a treatment designed to improve skin texture and tone. An acid is applied to the skin which loosens the connections between dead skin cells, inducing exfoliation, stimulating collagen and new cell growth. This process causes superficial layers of dead skin to peel off or fluff off, revealing a smoother and more radiant complexion.

Acne Peel + Extractions: 12.5% Salicylic Acid. Follow up Extractions a week following treatment.
Glow Peel: 7% Lactic Acid, 7% Salicylic Acid, 7% Resorcinol, 9% Mandelic Acid.
Jessner: 14% Lactic Acid, 14% Salicylic Acid, 14% Resorcinol

+ Prep Chemical Peel
1.Avoid Accutane 6-12 months prior to beginning your treatment sessions.
2.Do not use topical agents that may increase the sensitivity of your skin such as retinoids, exfoliants, topical antibiotics or acids 5-7 days prior to your treatment.
+ Post Care
Day 1-2:
- Avoid the sun as much as possible.
- For the first 12 hours DO NOT get your skin wet or apply skincare, this will reactivate the peel.
- After 12 hours you can cleanse the skin with a gentle cleanser. Continue only using the supplied balm as skin is still sensitized.
- Avoid applying any heat to the skin, this includes exercising. Take extra care if your skin feels sensitized.
Day 3-5: Only use calming & hydrating products.
We recommend:
Day 5-7: Can use active ingredients such as retinol, exfoliants, AHAs, BHAs.
Post Treatment DO NOT:
- Do not cleanse skin for 12 hours after the peel.
- No hot showers for 24 hours.
- Do not use Jacuzzis, steam rooms or saunas for 24 hours.
- Do not participate in activities that would cause excessive sweating for 24 hours.
- Do not use any scrubs or mechanical forms of exfoliation for 5-7 days.
- No scrubs, retinoic acids, AHA’s, BHA’s, or astringents until the skin has healed for 5-7 days.
- DO NOT PEEL OR PICK AT THE SKIN.
+ Optimal Results
- For optimal results we recommend 3-6 sessions depending on concern and condition of the skin.
